There are cinnamon rolls, and then, there are Cosmic Crisp® Apple Pie Cinnamon Rolls 🍎 🥧

Crunchy on the outside and gooey on the inside, these Apple Pie Cinnamon Rolls by @takestwoeggs are a comforting treat to enjoy on a crisp fall day. Don’t forget to drizzle some vanilla icing on top 😍

5 Cosmic Crisp® Apples, Peeled, Cored & Diced
1/4 Cup Granulated Sugar
1 Tsp Ground Cinnamon
1/2 Tsp Nutmeg
1/4 Tsp Cloves
2 Tbsp Unsalted Butter
1 Tbsp Cornstarch

2/3 Cup Dark Brown Sugar, Packed
1 Tbsp Ground Cinnamon 
 6 Tbsp Unsalted Butter, Room Temperature

1. In a large mixing bowl, mix the apples, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves until evenly coated.
2. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter and add the apple mixture. Toss to coat and stir until apples are tender and released some of its juices. Then, add the cornstarch and mix to incorporate. Cook until the mixture has thickened. Set aside to cool.
3. In a small bowl, mix the brown sugar and cinnamon. Set aside.
4. Spread melted butter over dough, leaving a ¼ inch margin along one width side of the rolled out dough to seal the dough. Next, sprinkle the cinnamon sugar and diced apples over the buttered dough leaving the 1/4 margin at the end clean.
5. Tightly roll the dough, ending with the unbuttered side and gently pinching the end to seal the edges of the dough as best you can.
6. Cut the rolled dough into 1” sections with a serrated knife.
7. Place the cut cinnamon rolls in a lined, greased baking pan. Cover with a kitchen towel, and place the pan in a warm place for 30-45 minutes.
8. Preheat oven to 350˚F. Remove kitchen towel, and bake for 25-30 minutes or until slightly golden brown along the edges. Cool for 5-10 minutes before frosting.
9. Drizzle with icing and enjoy!

Sweet and savory, these Apple Cheddar Biscuits by @eatprettydarling are crispy and sweet. Your kids will get out of bed for their back-to-school breakfast sandwich 🍎 

And the best part? They’re gluten-free and simple to make.


1/2 Cup Unsalted Butter, Cubed
3 1/2 Cups Gluten-Free Flour
1/4 Cup Granulated Sugar
2 Tbsp Baking Powder
1/2 Tsp Salt
3/4 Cup Buttermilk (Add 1 Tbsp Lemon Juice to Plain Milk)
2 Large Eggs
1/2 Cup Cosmic Crisp® Apples, Peeled & Shredded 
1/2 Cup Sharp Cheddar Cheese, Shredded
2 Tbsp Milk

1. Preheat the oven to 425°F, and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Cut the butter into small pieces and put in the freezer for 10 minutes.
2. If you don’t have buttermilk, make your own and let it stand for 5-10 minutes in the refrigerator to keep cold.
3. In a large bowl,  add flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Stir to combine. Cut the butter into the flour with a pastry cutter or hands until it looks like small peas.
4. Add in the buttermilk and eggs, and stir until a soft dough forms. You can whisk the eggs right in the buttermilk. Don’t over mix!! The dough will be a little sticky. Carefully stir in the apple and cheese.
5. Add a tablespoon of flour to a large piece of parchment paper. Place the dough on top of the floured parchment paper. Dust the top of the dough with another tablespoon of flour and gently fold dough over on itself 2x.
6. With your hands, form a rectangle that is about 2” thick. Run a sharp knife under warm water and then cut the dough in half lengthwise. Then cut each half into 4 slices. You will now have 8 rectangle biscuits.
7. Carefully place them on the parchment lined baking sheet. Brush the tops with 2 tablespoons of milk. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
8. Serve as a sandwich with bacon, egg, cheese, avocado, apple butter, and fresh apple slices!
