This fresh apple topiary is a showstopper on a dining table or side board for the holidays. It easy to make for any level crafter. It takes 15-20 minutes to make once you have the materials gathered. Spritz the greenery every day with a little water to keep them fresh or replenish as needed. The apples will last about 5 to 7 days.
Break a floral pick or skewer half. Insert one end into the center of the side of a Cosmic Crisp® apple, then insert the other end into the base of the styrofoam cone.
Continue around the base of the cone to complete a circle. Repeat in offset circles until you reach the top of the cone. Finish with one Cosmic Crisp® apple on top.
Fill in between the apples with little sprigs of greenery to hide the cone.
Carefully transfer the topiary to the plate or cake stand. Hide the plate with more sprigs of greenery around the base.
If desired, wrap the ribbon around the tree from top to bottom. Tuck the ribbon in between the apples to secure.
