Grilled Cosmic Crisp® Apple + Corn Burrata Caprese


  • 1 Cosmic Crisp® Apple, sliced into ¼” inch thick rounds
  • 1 ear of corn, husked
  • Avocado oil
  • 2 small heirloom tomatoes, sliced into ¼” rounds
  • 4 ounces burrata
  • Olive oil
  • Balsamic glaze
  • Flaky salt
  • Freshly cracked black pepper
  • Basil leaves


  1. Preheat the grill to 425 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Lightly brush the apple rounds and corn cob with a little bit of avocado oil, but not too much.
  3. Grill the apple rounds for about 2 minutes per side until charred but not too soft. Grill the corn for about 8 minutes, rotating every two minutes.
  4. Slice the corn off the cob once cooled.
  5. Assemble the Caprese by layering the tomatoes and grilled apples.
  6. Tear the burrata ball in half and place over the top. Sprinkle the grilled corn over the top of the burrata, followed by a generous drizzle of olive oil, balsamic glaze, and a pinch of sea salt and freshly cracked black pepper.
  7. Top with fresh basil leaves and enjoy with a baguette or on its own!
