2022 was a bright and shining year for the Apple of Big Dreams™. As we look forward to 2023, we’re reflecting on our favorite memories with YOU.
We took it to the sky
From Arizona to Alabama, the Cosmic Crisp® hot air balloon soared high in the sky, inspiring friends and family to Imagine the Possibilities™. The balloon stopped in 16 U.S. cities including the 50th Albuquerque International Balloon Festival, where our balloon was lucky enough to fly the American flag.
Fun Fact: Did you know the volume of the hot air balloon is roughly 90,000 individual Cosmic Crisp® apples?!
We helped craft a new celestial sipper
This year our friends at 2 Towns Ciderhouse released a brand new flavor in their Cosmic Explorer series featuring yours truly! Crafted exclusively in the Northwest, the new Raspberry cider features raspberries, cranberries, and of course, Cosmic Crisp® apples. Let’s just say this new flavor will have you ripping the whitewaters of the milky way.
We hosted our first ever Culinary Challenge
This summer we called on home cooks, seasoned pros, and young aspiring chefs alike, to participate in the very first Cosmic Crisp® Culinary Challenge. Hosted and judged by our partner, Celebrity Chef Carla Hall, the only rule was to make an original dish that included one key ingredient: the Cosmic Crisp® apple. The results were out of this world and we discovered some incredibly innovative, and oh-so-yummy dishes… 261 to be exact.
We made sweet friends
Perhaps our sweetest sweepstakes yet, the Sweeter Together Giveaway took place this harvest season and it was in a delicious collaboration with two new friends of ours: Werthers Original® and Nordic Bakeware. We loved seeing everyone’s take on the caramel apple and celebrating with incredible prizes.
